Engaged to the
health of america
Founded in March 2011, our objective is to build a healthy future by strengthening the action of different social actors so that effective policies and best practices are implemented.
What do we do
With the focus on the prevention and control of non-communicable diseases, at CLAS we work to promote health policies for tobacco control, promotion of physical activity, healthy eating, control of alcohol consumption and control of air pollution.
CLAS facilitates the development of consensual positions with leaders, experts and activists in the region, both from civil society and academics and government representatives. These positions allow for unified action, with common goals.
