CLAS recently joined the Global Climate and Health Alliance (GCHA) as a member. The Alliance was formed in Durban in 2011 to address climate change and protect and promote public health. This alliance is made up of health and development organizations from around the world united by the vision of an equitable and sustainable future. The vision is a world where the health impacts of climate change are kept to a minimum, and the health co-benefits of climate change mitigation are maximized.
