On August 16, the webinar titled “Latin America United for Universal Health Coverage” was held, organized by the CLAS group of people living with non-communicable diseases.
This event was the beginning of a campaign for the United Nations High-Level Meeting on Universal Health Coverage and included the participation of:

  • Dr. José Ruales – Minister of Health of Ecuador
  • Carolina Goic – Former deputy and senator. Executive Director National Cancer Forum Foundation
  • Alicia Ferreira – Advisor to the Representative of Uruguay Cristina Lustemberg
  • Lesly Ramirez – Center for Studies for Equity and Governance in the health systems of Guatemala
  • Gloria Haro – Look at the Stars Foundation
  • Lorena Allemandi – NCD Alliance
  • Agustina Luque – CLAS
