The Healthy America Coalition (CLAS) is a member of the Stop Tobacco Pollution Alliance (STPA), a global coalition of public health organizations, which recognize the crucial relationship between tobacco control and environmental health.

The Stop Tobacco Pollution Alliance is actively participating in the United Nations negotiations for an international treaty on plastic pollution, which are taking place in Punta del Este, Uruguay; and will remain active to ensure strong implementation of treaty measures that serve to reduce the tobacco epidemic and its effect on the environment.
